There are two methods of transmitting data to and from the OPSEU Pension Trust.
Each method has its benefits and caveats.
Prior to implementing this method the employer must set up an account with
PosteCS. To register for this service, go to:
https://cpc.postecs.com/enroll.
Files are transmitted to OPTrust as follows:
- The employer uploads the data file to PosteCS.
- The employer is notified that file was sent successfully.
- OPTrust is notified by email that new file has arrived.
- An OPTrust staff member logs on to PosteCS and downloads the file.
- The employer is notified that the file was retrieved.
OPTrust will not cover the cost incurred by the employer in using the
PosteCS
service.
The second method of transmittal is via courier. The employer must:
- save the data file on a write-protected diskette
- indicate the employer name, pay date and current date on the diskette label
- place the diskette in a protective envelope
send the diskette via courier to:
Data Management Group
OPSEU Pension Trust
1 Adelaide Street East, suite 1200
Toronto, ON M5C 3A7
- data files must be sent immediately after the pay run is complete
- only one file may be sent at a time. OPTrust will not accept multiple files at
the same time.
OPTrust will not cover courier costs incurred by the employer. All diskettes
received by the OPTrust are stored on-site for one year. If the employer
requires these diskettes back, OPTrust will purge all data and return them upon
request.
For more information or to change your transmittal method, please contact OPTrust’s Data Management Group.
