Member Services Department

OPTrust’s Member Services department is divided into front and back office functions:

Front office:

  • Two Member Services Teams

Back office:

  • Data Management Group (Employer Services)
  • Quality Assurance & Support Services

As an employer, your primary contacts (link on the right side of each Employer Manual page) is the Data Management Group.

Data Management Group

The Data Management Group is the primary contact point for employers and is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all member pension related data. This includes responsibility for:

  • data interface with WIN:
    • biweekly contribution upload
    • biweekly data upload
    • buyback contribution deductions (OPS)
  • data transfers from non-WIN employers
  • data issues involving:
    • salary confirmation
    • work record issues
    • employee contributions
    • pension adjustment confirmations
    • inquiries regarding specific entitlement to a pension benefit (including an application for a benefit)
    • member inquiries
    • issues regarding Plan administration and Plan policy
    • assisting employers
